CS53L21是一款高度集成24位96赫兹的低功耗立体声A/D。基于多位∆-∑模块，CS53L21容许4赫兹至96赫兹间无限的采样频率调整。
此款ADC为低功耗便携式系统产品提供众多特性。它的ADC输入容许独立控制一系列特性。其输入多工器为各轨道选择线平或麦克电平输入。麦克电平输入路径包括可选编程式增益前置放大器和低噪音MIC偏压供电。线平或麦克电平输入包括PGA并提供软着陆和零跨越转换。此款ADC同时也具有带有软着陆转换的数字音量衰减器。可编程式ALC和噪音门监控输入信号并适时调整音量。
信号处理引擎(SPE)控制左/右轨道音量混音，轨道间转换和轨道默音功能。所有的音量转变可设定在软着陆和零跨越转换中。
除了以上众多特性，CS53L21只需单一低压模拟和数字核电源供电；这一特性使其成为便携式音放机，数字麦克，数字语音刻录机，语音识别系统和音频/视频采集卡的理想选择。
